57 participants took to the starting line in the 5-km, 10-km, and 20-km races, as well as the 200-meter sprint, to qualify for the German Sports Badge. Tina Zimmermann and Thomas Schaaf set personal bests.

At the Aldenhoven Testing Center, we don’t just conduct tests and evaluate the latest research – we also offer professional driver safety training for organizations and companies, which can be booked and held here. Recently, several local chapters of the THW used our test tracks for an intensive training.

On June 10 and 11, 2026, the closing event of the StadtUp research project took place at the Aldenhoven Testing Center. After three and a half years of research and development, the 20 project partners from the automotive industry, the supplier sector, and academia presented their findings on end-to-end automated driving in urban areas.
