On March 12, 2025, Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, visited the Aldenhoven Testing Center. She was joined by Astrid Hohn, 1st Deputy District Administrator of the district of Düren, Mayor Ralf Claßen and Dr. Patricia Peill, Member of the State Parliament, to visit the center for the mobility of the future.

The first edition of XPONENTIAL Europe took place in Düsseldorf this week. The trade fair is aimed at all companies and interested parties in the field of autonomous systems and robotics. Together with our technology partner Vodafone and the Institute for Automotive Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, we presented our testing services. One highlight was ika's mobile roadside infrastructure, which demonstrated how traffic flow and safety can be improved through networking.

This year's carnival will be even better! The JECKOMIO.TV “Prinzen-Taxi EXTREME” presented by our cooperation partner Jacobs Group took to the track at the Aldenhoven Testing Center with Tightlight Production. All of the carnival princes from Aachen region faced off in extreme conditions in the all-electric ID. Buzz to answer Daniel's questions. Well cleared, of course!
