Last week, we looked toward the future of mobility with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Center of Vertical Mobility – today, we’re looking back at our roots. That’s because the Aldenhoven Testing Center is located on the former Emil Mayrisch coal mine site in Aldenhoven. Since 2009, it has been gradually expanded into the modern testing center it is today.
Our Managing Director, Anette Winkler, recently welcomed a journalist from DIE ZEIT to our facility. He was researching a story about an Italian worker. The first so-called guest workers arrived in Germany from Italy over 70 years ago.
