As summer is unfortunately still a long way off, we are taking you today to an exciting documentary about Team Sonnenwagen from Aachen and their participation in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia in 2023: 3,022 km through the outback from Darwin to Adelaide in seven days.

We at the Aldenhoven Testing Center are supporting Team Sonnenwagen, consisting of students from Aachen University of Applied Sciences and RWTH Aachen University. They have been testing their vehicles at our proving ground in Aldenhoven since 2017. Of course, we were also present at the rollout on June 5, 2023, when the fourth generation of the Sonnenwagen, Covestro Adelie, was presented at the Eurogress Aachen.

As the Aldenhoven Testing Center, we are open to small and medium-sized companies and start-ups: research and testing for the mobility of the future with us today. When will you start your challenge? Our team will support you in achieving your goals.
