What do you need to test innovation under real-world conditions? A test center like ours, of course.

That's exactly what Ecogenium, an interdisciplinary team of motivated students from Aachen working in the field of hydrogen mobility, recently did at our facility. The team behind Hydraix II pushed their hydrogen vehicle to its limits at the Aldenhoven Testing Center. And we are delighted that we were able to provide the right environment: versatile terrain, the appropriate infrastructure, and a fully equipped workshop environment.

The result: 100 kilometers successfully completed. An important milestone – not only for the team, but also for the further development of sustainable driving technologies.

The vehicle was tested under realistic hydrogen operating conditions at our facility – thanks in part to the collaboration with PEM RWTH Aachen University and the provision of H₂.

We are delighted to support innovation projects like this and to work together to advance the mobility of tomorrow.
