Aixtreme Racing, the motorsports team from Aachen University of Applied Sciences, conducted preliminary testing of its Formula Student race car, the FS26, at our facility.
From the Testing Track to the Racing Track
At the Aldenhoven Testing Center, the team was able to test technical enhancements under controlled conditions. The focus was on evaluating handling characteristics, fine-tuning components, and ensuring the reliability of the entire vehicle. The insights gained on our track sections formed an important foundation for preparing for the Formula Student competitions. We are pleased to support the students in their development work and congratulate the entire team on their successful performance in the competitions of this saison!
Teamwork as a Key to Success
Behind the FS26 lies the work of students from a wide variety of disciplines. Design, manufacturing, electronics, and software all interlock, making the race car a collaborative development project. For 19 years, Aixtreme Racing has combined technical innovation with team spirit and a passion for motorsports.
