At the end of last year, Sony Group Corporation and Vodafone Germany conducted another test with the VISION-S prototype on our test track in Aldenhoven. The aim was to explore the possibility of a new mobility experience in the 5G environment. In this driving test connecting Tokyo and Germany, video and control signals were transmitted to and from Japan with low latency using the telematics system installed in VISION-S in Germany and demonstrated smooth vehicle operation from Tokyo.

We are delighted that the Aldenhoven Testing Center has been selected for this exciting test, enabling us to experience mobility of the future today. The 5G Mobility Lab on our premises is one of the most modern mobile communications development and testing environments for the connected and autonomous traffic of the future. In addition to predefined standard configurations, specific, individual configurations can be provided. Here, Vodafone is our partner.

Our team will be happy to advise you on your tests for the mobility of tomorrow.
