What will mobility look like in the future? The autotech.agil consortium provided an answer to this question with a real-world laboratory for the mobility of tomorrow. Over 100 experts from research institutions and companies in the automotive industry presented the results of their research and development work to interested parties at the closing event on September 11, 2025, at the Aldenhoven Testing Center. Live demonstrations, a technical exhibition, lectures, and posters gave visitors a glimpse of how connected and automated mobility could work in everyday life in the future.

Our test and event environment offered the perfect conditions for experiencing new developments from the automotive and technology industries live: whether autonomous research vehicles, intelligent infrastructure, control centers, or cloud services – new systems and ideas were demonstrated directly on our test track in Aldenhoven in realistic scenarios. At a total of twelve stations, visitors had the opportunity to experience the mobility of the future up close. They were able to ride in over ten connected vehicles and connect directly to the digital twin of the traffic via their smartphones. Participants were enthusiastic about the variety of technologies on display and the practical insights they gained. The direct exchange with the development teams on site made the event a real highlight.

A successful day full of inspiration, networking, and forward-looking insights—the Aldenhoven Testing Center has once again demonstrated that it is a central platform for the mobility of tomorrow and open to everyone.
