In order to safely develop and validate future advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving functions, for example, precise digital map data is essential.

In collaboration with partners such as 3D Mapping Solutions, the Aldenhoven Testing Center provides high-resolution map data - as a digital twin of our test site. Depending on requirements, these can be supplemented with further levels of detail such as surface textures or reflection behavior.

This data opens up a wide range of possible applications:

• 🗺️ Map as a reference for in-vehicle tests, for example in OpenDRIVE, Road5, Lanelet2 format
• 🔁 Comparison with sensor data recorded in the vehicle
• 🎯 Basis for scenario extraction, for example in OpenSCENARIO format

• ✅ NVH and vehicle dynamics simulation with high-resolution surface models, for example in OpenCRG format
