This week, Trailer Dynamics GmbH tested ABS for the E-Trailer on various surfaces at our premises in Aldenhoven: On the tiled track with a static friction coefficient (µ) of 0.1, on wet asphalt 0.6 as well as half and half split, i.e. also on µ split. In the next step, an anti-slip control system is adapted for the electrically driven axle of the trailer.

Would you also like to achieve your test goals with us? Our twelve tracks offer excellent conditions for research, development and validation of individual systems and complete vehicles on site. They include classic elements such as an oval circuit, a vehicle dynamics area, and a handling track. Urban situations can be simulated in the highly variable urban environment, while the Autobahn section is suitable for simulated overland traffic.
