The Brandschutz Center Münster hosted the “RescueXperience by Holmatro” at the Aldenhoven Testing Center. A total of 26 emergency responders from the region and beyond trained together in technical rescue under realistic conditions. The Brandschutz Center Münster hosted the “RescueXperience by Holmatro” at our Aldenhoven Testing Center. A total of 26 emergency responders from the region and beyond trained together in technical rescue under realistic conditions.

After a theoretical session, they moved straight into hands-on practice. Divided into two groups, the participants tackled three challenging rescue scenarios:

• Passenger car trapped under a truck
• Passenger car on its side after a rollover
• Passenger car with a side-impact collision

State-of-the-art rescue equipment was used, allowing participants to practice various rescue techniques.

The participants’ feedback was consistently positive - both for the event and the location. Additional technical rescue seminars at the Aldenhoven site are already in the planning stages.
