On Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4, 2023, the "Classic Summer Days" took place at Merode Castle in the district of Düren. Here, the Mercedes-Benz brand clubs presented their vehicles in front of a historic backdrop. The event was held under the motto "R129 & friends". The meeting for members, friends and interested guests was organized by the Germany-wide active Mercedes-Benz R129 SL Club.

Our Aldenhoven Testing Center was also the location for the event: Last Friday, about 40 participants were given a guided tour of our site in small groups. On the second day, there were exclusive test drives for the young and classic cars on our premises. 30 vehicles per hour drove the event route that consisted of oval circuit and handling track.
