The oval, which was rebuilt in 2018, has a total length of around 2 km and has three lanes. Depending on the lane and curve radius, lateral force-free driving up to around 120 km/h is possible. The straight sections are each 400 m long. Truck traffic is possible - the permissible axle load is 10 t.

The oval surrounds most of the tracks of the Aldenhoven Testing Center and is therefore also the access road to these tracks. Its two longest straights are each 400 m long. Depending on the lane, lateral force-free travel is possible at speeds between 34 km/h and 117 km/h. The longest of the three lanes has a length of 2,120 m.
